Dunbritton Housing Association has raised over £2,000 for deserving charities after staff organised a race night at the Vale of Leven Golf Club.

The event was well-attended by staff, their families and friends, board members and local contractors.

Organiser-in-Chief Heather Maitz, senior finance officer at Dunbritton, said: “Our nominated charities are Macmillan Cancer Care and Alzheimer’s Scotland. We raised a total of £2020.00 and this will be split between them.

“Our staff put in a lot of effort to organise events like this and it’s great to see the high level of support we get. We’re delighted with the response we got and hopefully the money we were able to donate will make a difference to people who really deserve it.”

Heather added: “Special thanks should also go to our contractors who were really supportive and generous as usual, and local businesses in the area for donating prizes. Marie Clare Freke, Samantha Degan & Campbell Hennebry who helped with organising the event; and last but not least our ‘Dolly Dealers’ on the night Lynne Edwards , Kirsty Kerr and Sean Harwood.”
