Cassiltoun Housing Association was delighted to welcome Aico’s regional specification manager, Tony Boyle, to deliver CPD training to its staff team.

Tony delivered a thorough training session on their smoke alarm systems that will be installed throughout the Association properties during 2019/20 & 2020/21 financial years.  Residents of the Association where also invited along to see for themselves the new smoke alarm systems and ask any questions.

John Williams, housing manager – property, said: “As a sector, the quality of our tenants homes has never been as high on the agenda as it is now, from energy efficiency measures to combat fuel poverty to the local challenges of maintaining the quality of our environment.  We are delighted to be rolling out an investment program which will see the installation of smoke alarm systems which will further enhance the safety of our tenants. This improvement program will run from August 2019.”

Anna Stuart MBE, chair of the Association, added: “The quality and safety of our homes has always been a high priority for us and we are confident that we will complete our programme of installation in the autumn of 2020 which is well before the February 2021 deadline.”
