The family-run business, based in Gourdon, has been recognised in the following categories: House of the Year (up to £500,000) for the Mulberry at Linton Mews, Housebuilder of the Year (up to 100 units), and Show Home of the Year for the Mulberry, Linton Mews.

The Scottish Home Awards celebrates excellence across the housing sector, recognising quality, design and contribution across the country.

This latest shortlisting builds on a standout year in 2024, where Fotheringham Homes secured three awards, including Housebuilder of the Year, Show Home of the Year and the Community Contribution Award.

At the centre of the two shortlisted categories is the Mulberry, a four bedroom home at Linton Mews in Gourdon. The showhome has played a key role in helping buyers understand the layout, quality and level of customisation available, while also supporting the wider development and future sites.

Linton Mews is Fotheringham Homes’ latest development, bringing 49 new homes to the coastal village of Gourdon. The development has seen strong demand, reflecting the continued need for well designed housing in rural and coastal communities across the North East.

Alongside Linton Mews, the business is preparing to begin construction at Brownmuir, Fordoun, a small development of three family homes, with early interest already secured ahead of starting on site. Looking ahead, Fotheringham Homes also has two larger developments planned for Inverbervie and Kirriemuir later this year, continuing its steady growth across the North East.

The winners of the Scottish Home Awards 2026 will be announced on Thursday 18th June at the DoubleTree by Hilton, Glasgow Central.
