Housing Options Scotland to host GBBO winner for afternoon tea

Housing Options Scotland will host Nancy Birtwhistle, winner of season five of the BBC’s Great British Bake Off, at a luxurious afternoon tea in May.

The special event being held on 29 May in the tranquil surroundings of Cromlix House Hotel, nestled in the beautiful Perth & Kinross countryside, with afternoon tea being provided by the hotel’s restaurant Chez Roux, which is overseen by legendary French chef Albert Roux.

Nancy will regale guests with her tale, from filling in her application for Bake Off to taking home the crown of ‘Queen of the buns’ in 2014 and the whirlwind that came after.

Moira Bayne, CEO of Housing Options Scotland, said: “We are thrilled to be hosting Nancy for this afternoon tea event which promises to be a magical experience for all who attend. We are also delighted that this event will be in support of Housing Options Scotland’s work to help disabled and older people find the right home in the right place.”
