Indigo House expands senior team with duo of appointments

Nicola Thom and Lesley Baird

Indigo House Group, a housing and regeneration consultancy team operating throughout the UK, has recently expanded its directorate by inviting Nicola Thom to join its senior team as director, and Lesley Baird as an associate.

Nicola Thom has taken up her role as Indigo House director alongside the founding directors of Anna Evans, Karen Fitzsimons and Andrea Paterson.

Ms Thom has led her own successful consultancy business since 2018 and has worked closely as an Associate of Indigo House throughout this time. Discussions between both companies in the latter months of 2022 identified the strengths and opportunities that this new collaboration would bring. In particular, an enhanced focus on customer service and operations through interim management and service development consultancy projects.

She is renowned throughout the sector for her passion for customer excellence and her determination to ensure that housing providers adopt a culture that is performance driven and outcome focused. She has successfully led many organisations through challenging times, cultural and structural transformations, service reviews and transfer of engagements.

At the same time, Indigo House is delighted to welcome Lesley Baird as an Associate. Ms Baird is well known in the housing sector for her strong track record in tenant consultation and empowerment, developing partnerships between landlords and tenants, ensuring tenants voices are strong, are heard, and are taken into account in decision making. Shewas the CEO of TPAS Scotland for 25 years and since March 2022 Lesley has been developing her own consultancy, and her collaborative work with Indigo House.

The Indigo House directors commented: “We’re delighted to welcome Nicola as Director, and Lesley as Associate, both of whom come with market leading focus on customer service excellence and tenant empowerment.

“Their skills and experience complement our long standing strengths in housing research, strategic and financial planning, governance and leadership advice, and organisational restructuring.

“We look forward to offering our combined skills and experience along with all our employees and Associates to help our clients make the very best decisions to enhance the quality of life of the customers and communities that they serve.”
