Milnbank committee member John O’Donnell recognised for long service

Milnbank Housing Association paid tribute to its longest-serving management committee member John O’Donnell at its recent 50th anniversary celebration.
Having served Milnbank for more than 44 years, John is one of the many pioneers who were instrumental in making the community-based housing association movement the success that it is today.
Allan Scott, chair, said: “It’s commendable for someone to give this amount of time on a voluntary basis for the greater good of the community. John is an example of a local resident who is fully committed to the CBHA ethos.
“On behalf of the management committee, staff and the community, a huge Thank You, John.”
