Moda Group positions for growth with key new hires

Rental communities developer and operator Moda Group has made key appointments to support expansion in its rental operations.

Moda has implemented two new senior management boards across development and operations which will work with the executive board to drive day-to-day performance and enhance corporate governance and reporting.

To support leasing activities at Moda’s UK-wide operational neighbourhoods, with a further five schemes coming online in 2024, Craig Allden joins Moda as head of leasing, having previously spent over four years at Quintain overseeing their estate. Luke Scott, who worked on The Dorchester, Admiralty Arch and Jumeriah Carlton London hotels, has joined as a project director to support delivery of key neighbourhoods across Edinburgh, Birmingham and London.

Gabby Rhodes joins the team from Vita Group to lead the PBSA brand experience on Moda’s forthcoming student platform, which is targeting 10,000 student beds in key cities across the UK in the next five years.

Wellbeing and sustainability are key brand foundations and sit at the heart of everything Moda does, so they are pleased to welcome their first dedicated ESG manager, Tarry Depledge, who joins the team after several high-profile roles including ITM Power and Paragon Banking.

David Sinclair has joined as head of technology to spearhead the operational digital infrastructure, having previously designed and built digital operating systems at companies such as The Collective and Impala.

The announcement of new appointments comes as Moda is due to deliver and mobilise a further c. 2,500 homes throughout 2024 across multi-family and single family, and after the group recently launched Moda 2.0 - a brand-new consumer website and its first ever corporate website, to better showcase its range of platforms to residents, investors and key stakeholders.

Casa by Moda, the single family homes division of Moda Group, welcomed its first residents this month at Casa, Vista Park in Glasgow, while new BTR neighbourhoods at Moda, Hove Central on the south coast, Moda, Holland Park in Glasgow and the first phase of Moda’s New Garden Square masterplan in Birmingham are set to launch in early 2024.
