New community engagement portal launched for Moray

Moray Council has launched a new online platform designed to make it easier for people across Moray to have their say on local, council-led issues.
Moray Engage is a one-stop shop for public consultations, community projects, and ongoing conversations with the council about its services and projects. It’s simple to use and open to everyone to get involved in shaping the future council.
Right now, Moray Council is looking for feedback on:
- 20mph speed limits – tell the council what you think about proposed changes to speed limits across Moray.
- Linzee Gordon Park renewal – help shape the future of this well-loved community space in Buckie.
The council is also continuing to support tenant participation and make sure voices are heard, and give care-experienced young people a platform to influence decisions that matter to them.
Visit engage.moray.gov.uk to get involved.
Council leader, Councillor Kathleen Robertson, said of the platform: “Moray Engage is a big step forward in how we connect with our communities. It’s about making it easier for people to share their views and help shape the decisions that affect them.
“More projects and events will be added regularly, as well as closing the loop of ‘you said, we did’, so residents know exactly the difference they’re making when giving feedback on proposals. Of course, there will be some suggestions we can’t adopt but we’ll make it clear what we can and can’t do. I encourage everyone to take a look and get involved so we can shape Moray together.”
Still to come on the site is a dedicated space for a citizens panel for Moray, a group of enthusiastic residents who will be invited to provide regular feedback on council and community plans and policy. Anyone interested in joining the Citizens Panel can register their interest here.
