Prospect Community Housing has completed its transition to electric vans for its Estates Team.
There are three vans in the fleet, and these are all now fully electric. Prospect has also installed two electric vehicle charge points at their office so the vehicles can be charged conveniently overnight.
The move is part of Prospect’s ongoing commitment to reducing its carbon footprint and carrying out our tasks in an environmentally responsible way.
Brendan Fowler, CEO at Prospect, said: “We purchased our first electric van four years ago, and we have recently completed the transition with our last diesel van being replaced last month. As well as bringing environmental benefits, these vans are easier to drive and less costly to run than our previous vehicles.”
