Sidey becomes first window and door contractor to join TPAS
Sidey has become the first window and door contractor to join the Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS).
The significant milestone reflects Sidey’s ongoing commitment to understanding the needs of tenants and ensuring resident voices are central to the way services are delivered.
As a contractor working extensively within social housing, Sidey believes meaningful tenant engagement is essential to creating positive experiences and successful outcomes.
By becoming a TPAS member, Sidey will further strengthen its understanding of tenant priorities, helping to improve communication, service delivery and the overall customer journey for residents throughout planned improvement works.
Sidey’s joint managing director, Steve Hardy, said: “We are proud to become the first window and door contractor to join TPAS. This membership is important to us because we understand that the work we do takes place in people’s homes, and listening to tenants is vital to delivering the best possible service.
“Joining TPAS strengthens our commitment to understanding tenants’ needs, learning from their experiences and continuing to improve how we communicate and work with residents. We see this as an important step in helping create better outcomes for tenants and the communities we serve.”
Eveline Armour, CEO TPAS Scotland, said: “We are delighted to welcome Sidey as our first contractor to TPAS Scotland. It is hugely important for contractors to listen and understand tenants and provide services that meet their needs, so being part of the TPAS Scotland network where we regularly engage with tenants, landlords, Government and statutory organisations will help boost this engagement and improve the needs and priorities of tenants.”
