Taylor Wimpey secures further planning consent at Whitefields
Taylor Wimpey has secured an Approval of Matters Specified in Conditions (AMSC) detailed planning consent from Fife Council for a further 219 new homes as part of Phase One of its Whitefields development in Dunfermline.
The latest approval paves the way for the delivery of Whitefield Gate – the second development within the wider Whitefields masterplan.
Whitefield Gate will introduce Taylor Wimpey’s brand-new national house types to Fife for the first time. The development will feature a mix of two, three, four, and five-bedroom homes, designed to meet the changing needs of modern families and individuals. The development will also feature an equipped play area.
The milestone comes ahead of the expected launch of the first new homes for sale next month at Whitefield Gardens, which is also part of the initial phase of the Whitefields neighbourhood. Construction is already in progress to deliver 68 new homes.
Whitefields is set to become a vibrant new community in North Dunfermline, ultimately delivering around 1,400 new homes alongside a wide range of community benefits. These include a new primary school, shops, community facilities, green open spaces, two equipped play areas, an informal kick-about space, and significant improvements to local transport infrastructure.
