Craig Benson, who was formerly head of commercial and operations finance in SSE Distribution, said: “I am enjoying getting under the skin of housebuilding from a finance perspective – it’s an interesting and dynamic industry to be part of. It’s key that finance is a trusted function within the business and is able to provide specific and useful information to the business to help remain agile in an ever-changing market. A strong finance function helps to drive swift strategic decision-making and breeds confidence in reporting both internally and externally, and I am looking forward to contributing to the successful team at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland.”
Welcoming Craig and Martin to the board, and acknowledging Graeme Smith’s promotion to divisional finance director, David Blair, managing director for Taylor Wimpey West Scotland said: “Craig and Martin join our team at an exciting and dynamic time for our business and indeed the wider housebuilding industry. Together they bring a wealth of experience in their respective areas of expertise, and I am confident they will each make a significant contribution to our future growth.
“I’m also extremely pleased that Graeme Smith has moved to a divisional finance position and that we will continue to benefit from his wealth of experience in working with our business.”
