Views sought on Moray’s Local Housing Strategy

Moray Council is launching a consultation to gather views on its draft Local Housing Strategy for 2025-2030.
The plan outlines how the council aims to address key housing challenges in Moray.
These include increasing affordable housing, improving living conditions, and tackling fuel poverty.
Developed in collaboration with local organisations, housing providers, community groups, and shaped by early input from residents, the strategy reflects a broad range of perspectives.
The consultation will run until Friday 14 November, and will be available on Moray Engage - a new online platform designed to be a one-stop shop for public consultations, community projects and ongoing conversations about council services.
All residents, tenants, landlords, community groups and anyone with an interest in housing are encouraged to have their say.
Councillor Amber Dunbar, chair of Moray Council’s Housing and Community Safety Committee, said: “This strategy will guide how we tackle housing issues in Moray over the next five years. It’s vital that we hear from a diverse range of voices so that we can be sure it makes a real difference to our communities.”
All feedback will help shape the final version of the Local Housing Strategy, which is due to be published in March 2026.
