Salary: £53,192 - £65,081 per annum (+ Car allowance)

About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a strategic and analytical Asset Manager to lead our Asset Team and play a key role in developing, procuring and delivering asset management projects and other related services in line with the Group’s Asset Management Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leading the Asset team to deliver a high performing customer focused service, encouraging continuous learning and cross department collaboration
  • Effectively developing and managing the Group’s Asset Management Strategy, ensuring accurate and well-maintained assets data to inform the Group’s investment priorities and climate change ambitions
  • Delivery of asset related services to support the Group’s factoring service
  • Ensuring that all asset related procurement activities comply with regulatory and organisational standards
  • Ensuring compliance with health & safety legislation as it applies to the Group’s stock and factoring portfolio
  • Delivery of planned, cyclical maintenance and service contracts for the Group’s stock and factoring portfolio
  • Effectively managing all asset related contracts to ensure positive outcomes and high service standards are met
  • Setting, measuring and reporting on KPIs
  • Achieving high levels of performance and customer satisfaction in the delivery of all asset related services
  • Working with internal and external auditors and consultants on providing management information as required.

The Successful Applicant:

To succeed in this role, you will bring a relevant degree or professional qualification, along with senior-level experience in asset management and investment planning. You will have strong budget skills and a proven ability to manage procurement and contracts in line with asset related legislation and regulatory standards.

You’ll be confident setting and achieving ambitious performance targets, with a track record of driving improvements in both performance management and customer service. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, manage, and motivate teams effectively will be key to your success.

A full UK driving license and access to own vehicle is essential for this role.

The Asset Manager is a Hybrid Role, which means you will work flexibly from a range of sites including; working from home, at Caledonia Group Offices (based in Dundee, Perth or West Dunbartonshire), or on a mobile basis to be near customers or assets. Travel throughout our areas of operation will be required for this role.
