Chief Executive
Chief Executive
Salary: c. £100K plus benefits | Location: Aberdeen
Castlehill Housing Association is entering a significant and exciting new chapter. With the planned retirement of our long standing Chief Executive, we are seeking an exceptional leader who can guide our organisation confidently into the future while remaining grounded in our strong values and social purpose.
Castlehill has spent more than five decades providing high quality homes and support services across Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and Moray, building deep community roots, strong partnerships and a committed workforce. With financial stability, strong governance and clear ambition, we are well positioned for the next stage of our journey. All of this is set within a region that offers an exceptional quality of life - combining a distinctive, welcoming city with beautiful coastlines, historic towns and outstanding outdoor spaces, supported by excellent schools, transport links and a rich cultural identity - making it a fantastic place to live, work and lead!
As Chief Executive, you will provide strategic leadership to deliver our new corporate plan and ensure that Castlehill remains a trusted and effective organisation for the people and communities we serve. Working closely with a supportive Board, you will foster a culture of accountability, openness and continuous improvement, while empowering our talented staff to achieve high quality outcomes.
Central to your role will be driving organisational resilience, ensuring regulatory compliance, strengthening our partnerships, and shaping services that respond to the evolving needs of tenants and clients. You will encourage collaboration and inspire confidence across the organisation and beyond.
We are seeking a proven senior leader with experience in housing or related sectors who brings strong strategic capability, resilience and sound financial and commercial judgement. You will be a values driven leader with excellent people and stakeholder skills, able to motivate quality-driven teams, build productive partnerships, and balance social purpose with effective business decision making. Most importantly, you will bring the vision and ambition to deliver meaningful impact for our tenants, customers and communities.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a respected and stable organisation with a proud heritage and to play a defining role in shaping its future direction. If you share our passion for making a positive difference and want to bring your leadership talent to a purposeful and values-led organisation, we would be delighted to hear from you.
