Rosehill Housing Association is delighted to be advertising the post of Chief Executive - an exceptional opportunity for an experienced and committed leader to take the helm of a respected social landlord. Serving the Greater Pollok community since 1987. Rosehill owns and manages over 1,000 homes for social rent in Glasgow, providing factoring services to a further 200 owners. The Association recently achieved charitable status, strengthening its community focus and commitment to long-term sustainability.
The Chief Executive will report to the Management Committee and will provide strategic leadership to the Management Team and staff. This role is central to ensuring that Rosehill’s vision, business plan and strategic goals are delivered effectively for tenants, residents and the wider community. Candidates should be prepared to offer professional advice to the Management Committee on housing, social and economic matters, and support the development of organisational strategy, policy and governance. The Chief Executive will manage and develop the organisation in compliance with regulatory requirements, including those established by the Scottish Housing Regulator.
We are looking for a leader with deep understanding of the social housing sector and proven experience of driving high quality services. You will champion excellent customer service and continuous improvement, ensuring that tenants and residents receive well-managed homes and responsive services that reflect Rosehill’s values. You will lead on performance and risk management, financial planning and control, ensuring robust mechanisms are in place to meet organisational objectives and regulatory expectations.
As Chief Executive, you will cultivate a positive and inclusive culture, empowering staff to fulfil their potential and aligning performance with corporate goals. You will foster strong external relationships with key stakeholders including government agencies, local authorities and community partners to further Rosehill’s role in local regeneration and collaborative working. You will also act as an ambassador for the Association, promoting corporate aims and enhancing its reputation across the social housing sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent communication skills and a clear commitment to diversity and equal opportunities. You will uphold the highest standards of governance and financial probity, providing professional advice to the Management Committee and ensuring effective reporting and accountability throughout the organisation. This role will also include responsibilities as Company Secretary, maintaining statutory registers and signing key corporate documentation.
This post offers a rewarding challenge for a strategic thinker who thrives on delivering meaningful impact in social housing. If you are motivated by improving communities and leading an organisation that values tenant engagement, innovation and quality services, we would welcome your application.
