Reporting directly to the Chief Executive, you will lead Finance, Governance, Assurance and Corporate Services, ensuring high‑quality financial stewardship, excellent governance, and organisational performance.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to join a stable, high‑performing directorate with the scope to shape the future. You will:

• Guide investment decisions and play a key role in planning CVG’s next development programme alongside the new Director of Property & Development.
• Strengthen governance frameworks and assurance processes, contributing to CVG’s commitment to excellent regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.
• Drive digital transformation within Finance, champion automation and data‑driven insight, and modernise how financial information supports strategic decisions.
• Lead a talented team, fostering a culture of wellbeing, development and collaboration across the organisation.
About You
You will be a strategic and people‑centred leader, able to combine financial expertise with strong relationship‑building, emotional intelligence and organisational influence. You’ll bring:
• A senior track record in financial leadership, ideally with experience of complex, regulated or multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Strong governance and assurance capability.
• Confidence to provide constructive challenge while supporting a positive, aligned Executive Team.
• Curiosity, commercial awareness and the drive to improve systems, processes and insight.
• A genuine commitment to CVG’s values and social purpose.
Housing experience is welcome but not essential — what matters is gravitas, adaptability and the willingness to learn the sector.
