Tenants are loving life in the first new homes built by Cube Housing Association in four years.

A new development of 54 modern, spacious, energy-efficient homes has just opened at Beardmore Place, Dalmuir, on the banks of the Forth and Clyde Canal.

Martin Rooney, leader of West Dunbartonshire Council, was on hand to welcome tenants into their new homes.

The homes were built as part of a strategic partnership between Cube and its parent organisation Wheatley Group with West Dunbartonshire Council.

These are the first homes to be built by Cube since 2011, and come after the housing association joined Wheatley Group in 2012.

Joining Wheatley has allowed Cube to bring forward plans which will see hundreds more homes built in its communities - including 300 in West Dunbartonshire.
