EKHA achieves National Green Standard for ESG excellence

East Kilbride Housing Association (EKHA) has become the first housing association in Scotland to be awarded the National Green Standard for excellence in Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) action.
Devised by IVARTY Consulting, the National Green Standard’s ESG governance framework is aligned with the UN Global Goals for sustainability. The Standard helps organisations demonstrate how their business makes sure it acts responsibly for the environment, treats people fairly, and makes good decisions.
EKHA CEO Andy Young praised the standard for offering a clear benchmark and external validation of their ESG progress, helping EKHA stay focused on high-quality delivery for tenants.
Mary McLuskey of IVARTY Consulting called EKHA “dynamic and forward-thinking” — a true leader in sustainable, socially responsible housing.
