The fundraising took place as part of Share’s 40th anniversary celebrations on 24th April at the Hilton Hotel in Glasgow, where housing professionals from across Scotland gathered for a day of learning, networking, and recognition.

Delegates, members, and guests came together in support of Beatson’s vital work, which provides life-changing care and services for cancer patients and their families throughout the west of Scotland.

Joyce Ross, partnerships fundraising manager at Beatson Cancer Charity, expressed her gratitude: “Thank you once again for your incredible support – we’re so grateful to everyone at Share for raising £1,702.87 for Beatson Cancer Charity. This generous donation will go towards funding vital services and support for patients and families affected by cancer across the west of Scotland.

“From wellbeing support and complementary therapies to funding specialist staff and ground-breaking research, every penny raised helps us be there when people need us most. We’re so grateful to Share’s members and guests for making that possible, and we hope this is just the beginning of a continued partnership in the future.”

The funds raised will directly support Beatson Cancer Charity’s mission to ensure that no one faces cancer alone. Share extended a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed and helped make this meaningful donation possible.
