Taylor Wimpey begins work on 117 new homes in Bargeddie
Taylor Wimpey West Scotland has commenced construction at Manse View in Bargeddie, marking a major milestone in the delivery of 117 new homes.
The progress follows North Lanarkshire Council’s granting of planning consent last year, enabling Taylor Wimpey West Scotland to return to Bargeddie after the success of its previous development in the town, with the first release of homes for sale set to in early March 2026.
Manse View will also be one of the first locations where Taylor Wimpey West Scotland builds and launches its new range of homes for sale, ensuring high-quality living spaces for future homeowners and increasing the choice of styles available in North Lanarkshire.
At the heart of the development will be a central green park and play area, creating a welcoming focal point for residents and supporting a strong sense of community. Alongside high-quality new homes, the development incorporates a series of biodiversity enhancements such as bug hotels, bee bricks, bird boxes and hedgehog highways.
Martin Findlay, technical director at Taylor Wimpey West Scotland, said: “We’re pleased that construction is now fully underway at Manse View. This is an exciting moment for our team and the Bargeddie community as we move closer to launching our new range of homes, designed to offer more choice, quality, and energy efficiency for buyers.
“Our return to Bargeddie reflects our long-term commitment to North Lanarkshire, and we look forward to welcoming prospective homeowners as the first homes of our new range are launched for sale in the coming weeks.”
