A new West Lothian Council housing development has been completed in Bathgate. The homes on the site of a former pub at Glasgow Road form part of the local authority’s new house building programme, which will see 1,000 new homes built by 2017 across each of the nine council wards.

Building work has started in Livingston where 20 new homes are being built for West Lothian Council. A total of eight one-bedroom cottage flats and 12 two-bedroom cottage flats will be built by Lovell at Almond Link Road.
