Waverley Housing has welcomed new apprentices which were recently recruited as part of its continued commitment to provide opportunities for young people in the Borders. Louise Davies joins existing apprentice Rachel Hunter in the office, with both completing a 2-year apprenticeship in SVQ Level 3 B

Waverley Housing has been further recognised for its efforts to promote a healthy workforce. The association, which signed up to the Healthy Working Lives initiative, has achieved the Silver Award having already obtained a Bronze Award.

Waverley Housing has made a donation to a cancer charity after an employee's son challenged himself to run 100 miles in 100 days to support it.

The Living Wage Foundation, in partnership with Poverty Alliance, has announced that Waverley Housing has been accredited as a Living Wage employer. The Living Wage is an hourly rate set independently and updated annually and is calculated according to the basic cost of living using the ‘Minimum I
